What about the sons of the fathers? Have cultures actually supressed the teaching of Islam?

There is a report from an online newspaper on a 14yr old teenage girl having sex with 5 men in their 20s.

Put this aside, because my attention is directed at this male-fellow from work, who forwarded the the news in an email with a caption :

Kpd bapak2 sekalian & utk peringatan kpd bakal bapak2/mak2, tolong jaga & asuh anak2 pompuan anda btol2 supaya tak jadi mcm berita ni...
Susah nak cari pompuan yg btol2 DARA zaman la ni...btol ka?

I can't help but noticed betapa ceteknya pemikiran this male-fellow(mf) from work. why is it that many are typical so quick at pointing fingers at women and labelling them as "

If we look at the situation above, what I can see is, ada 1 perempuan yang rosak, akan tetapi, ada 5 lelaki yang rosak. Kenapa bukan,

"Kepada bapak2 sekalian & untuk peringatan kepada bakal bapak2/mak2, tolong jaga & asuh anak2 lelaki dan perempuan anda btol2 supaya tak jadi mcm berita ni...Susah anak2 muda nak maintain DARA zaman la ni..."

hm.

Here is an article i just stumbled upon on the very same day the email on the news above was circulated.

Harassment forces Arab women to cover up

The sexual harassment of women in the streets, schools and work places of the Arab World is driving them to cover up and confine themselves to their homes, said activists at the first-ever regional conference addressing the once taboo topic.
Activists from 17 countries across the region met in Cairo for a two-day conference ending Monday and concluded that harassment was unchecked across the region because laws don't punish it, women don't report it and the authorities ignore it.
The harassment, including groping and verbal abuse, appears to be designed to drive women out of public spaces and seems to happen regardless of what they are wearing, they said.
Amal Madbouli, who wears the conservative face veil or niqab, told AP that despite her dress, she is harassed and described how a man came after her in the streets of her neighborhood.
"He hissed at me and kept asking me if I wanted to go with him to a quieter area, and to give him my phone number," said Madbouli, a mother of two.
"This is a national security issue. I am a mother, and I want to be reassured when my daughters go out on the streets."

Statistics on harassment in the region have until recently been nonexistent, but a series of studies presented at the conference hinted at the widespread nature of the problem.
As many as 90 percent of Yemeni women say they have been harassed, while in Egypt, out of a sample of 1,000, 83 percent reported being verbally or physically abused.
A study in Lebanon reported that more than 30 percent of women said they had been harassed there.
"We are facing a phenomena that is limiting women's right to move ... and is threatening women's participation in all walks of life," said Nehad Abul Komsan, an Egyptian activist who organized the event with funding from the U.N. and the Swedish development agency.
Open discussion of the harassment issue first emerged in Egypt three years ago, after blogs gave broad publicity to amateur videos showing men assaulting women in downtown Cairo during a major Muslim holiday.
The public outcry sparked an unprecedented public acknowledgment of the problem and drove the Egyptian government to consider two draft bills addressing sexual harassment.
Sexual harassment, including verbal and physical assault, has been specifically criminalized in only half a dozen Arab countries. Most of the 22 Arab states only outlaw overtly violent acts like rape, according to a study by Abul Komsan.
Participants at the conference said men are threatened by an increasingly active female labour force, with conservatives laying the blame for harassment on women's dress and behavior.
In Syria, men from traditional homes go shopping in the market place instead of female family members to spare them harassment, said Sherifa Zuhur, a Lebanese-American academic at the conference.
Abul Komsan described how one of the victims of harassment she interviewed told her she had taken on the full-face veil to stave off the hassle.
"She told me 'I have put on the niqab. By God, what more can I do so they leave me alone,"' she said, quoting the woman.

Some even said they were reconsidering going to work or school because of the constant harassment in the streets and on public transpiration.
But even in Yemen, where nearly all women are covered from head to toe, activist Amal Basha said 90 percent of women in a published study she conducted reported harassment, specifically pinching.
"The religious leaders are always blaming the women, making them live in a constant state of fear because out there, someone is following them," she said.
If a harassment case is reported in Yemen, Basha added, traditional leaders interfere to cover it up, remove the evidence or terrorize the victim.
In Saudi Arabia, another country where women cover themselves completely and are nearly totally segregated from men in public life, women report harassment as well, according to Saudi activist Majid al-Eissa.
His organization, the National Family Safety Programme, has been helping draft a law criminalizing violence against women in the conservative kingdom, where flirting can often cross the line into outright assault.

Discussion of the law begins Tuesday.
"It will take time especially in this part of the world to absorb the gender mixture and the role each gender can play in society," he said.
"We are coping with changes (of modern life), except in our minds."
- AP

Now, evidently, even when parents educate their daughters, and the female members of the society educate themselves (thank God for the luxury of a thing called, brain aka akal), when male members of the society are left uneducated, they will still be a threat to the society, a national security issue. How embarassing.

I am beginning to think that sex being a taboo subject in muslim countries are driving the muslim men towards chaos. Aren't they supposed to be the leaders?
We certainly don't want to become like the western countries or cities where sexual opportunity is in abundance, this is just inviting God's wrath upon us to happen sooner that it is already feared, no, no.

So what is wrong with muslim men? Have we really taken them for granted while growing up and concentrated more on the girls?

Here's another example of what would happen when we 'forgot' to educate little boys and what they would eventually become. This case was committed by a muslim man on a muslim boy when all the other muslims in the world were celebrating eid. And the biggest slap to muslims worldwide is, this happened in a mosque.

Pakistani Boy Raped and Killed in Dubai Mosque Toilet, One Held

A young Pakistani boy was raped and killed in the bathroom of a mosque in Dubai on Friday. The man who allegedly raped and murdered the six-year-old boy has been arrested. Dubai Police said they received information that a Pakistani child was found dead in the bathroom of a mosque located in
Al Qusais on Friday.
When the police reached the mosque, a man told them that he had come to the mosque for Zuhr prayers and that when he went to the bathroom to prepare for it, he saw traces of blood on the floor after which he saw the child behind the door. The boy’s pants had been removed.
The police, upon entering the bathroom, noticed that the child had been raped. They took the body to the General Department of Forensic Medicine and launched an investigation. Later, a Bahraini national was arrested on the suspicion of committing the crime.
He confessed to the crime during interrogation. He said he consumed alcohol late into the night on Thursday and went to the mosque to perform Eid prayers on Friday and returned home. He continued drinking alcohol and later went out to visit his friend to celebrate the festival.

What about the sons of the fathers? Have cultural rules or norms actually overcomes the teachings of Islam?

- it's OK for men to smoke but not for women. but the teachings of Islam says, anything memudaratkan is haram.

- for men being promiscuous is culturally a stud but women would be a slut. but the teachings of Islam says it is haram.

- a widowed men is hot item in the market but a widowed woman is wrongly labeled by the society.

- it is a culture for men to stare at women but not OK, no, wait, women just don't do that. and yet, the prophet said, lower your gaze and guard your modesty.

- women's circumcision is for the purpose of controlling women's libido, but circumcised men compare the size of their erected penis as they grow up. Disgusting? I think it's pathetic.

While we have pressed the cultural rules and teachings of Islam on the daughters, Have we, due to cultural norms too, neglected the teachings of Islam on the sons of the fathers?

Will we come to a point where there will not be a respectable male, someone we can look up to, admire or at least respect in our society all thanks to this cultural upbringing vs the teachings of Islam in our society?

I'm glad I can still point a few men around me worth a respect. Maybe there's hope after all.

Many of us are too busy trying to work some kind of magic with certain stranger(s) to make him/her become part of our lives as our spouse. Target, focus, aim, shoot. I want to make that person, whom is a total stranger, mine.

It's rather funny considering all the things we would do, of how much time, depth and complexity of our emotions, we spend on developing and maintaining our relationship with that significant stranger.

- we spend more quality time with him/her
- if something would go wrong with that stranger, we would throw tantrums over the slightest thing or even nothing at all to other people who already love us unconditionally (unlike that stranger) how very ungrateful, spoilt little bastards we are
- our face lit up in the presence of the stranger but we'd feel indifference around those who already love us unconditionally...ready to show our tantrums because that stranger is not around us instead.

Seriously. I am fucking. sick. of the people. who terlalu sibuk, melebih-lebihkan segala boyfriend, girlfriend sampai yg simple tasks as described below pun tak boleh nak buat. in fact, tak terasa nak buat langsung. terlalu bodo. tak reti nak appreciate the unconditional love given to them by other people selain daripada orang yang asing tu. yg dia dok siboooookkkk sangat dgn masalah frequency dengan orang asing tu so boleh align dengan frequency dia baru boleh panggil boyfren/girlfren. benda yang patut focus, yang jadi tanggungjawab, tak jalan. tu lah org kata, yang dikejar tak dapat, yg dikendong keciciran. jangan sampai orang2 yang sayang hang dah tak peduli pasai hang, hang baru nak sedaq what's actually important in your bloody life.

bila boyfren tak dak, girlfren tak dak..gatai gado sikit ka, rasa mcm semua org lain bloodyfool menyemak ja dlm hidop dia. pantang tegoq sikit. tak boleh nak buat lawak sikit, mula la nk melenting. jangan jadi haram jadah mcm ni.

I've admitted, I suck at showing my affections to those i love and care about. But for those who noticed, I would shower my affections with materials. i buy things. i want them to be happy with gifts. this is the way i show my affection. something you will have to deal with. if some cannot appreciate anything that is me, then i would stop eventually, without hesitation. after all, why waste? i am not buying anyone's affection. it's your loss.

Owls!

comey gila.

kalau aku bela sekoq dua nie, confirm extremists akan chop aku paling glamer witch or paling teruk bela hantu. (padahal aku bela burung hantu)

ada ka patut, ciptaan tuhan mcm nie...pantas ja certain people link to hantu setan iblis.

when i was younger, 1,2 year old when my dad was on training on the job, i lived alone with my mom. there was also a family of owls in the ceiling and they were within view. mom used to lift me to watch them owl family, and they were staring back at us. i can imagine words like, "there's daddy owl, mommy owl and baby owls.." hehe...and then many many years later, i found myself neatly imitating the 'owl dancing' in one situation* that got me wondered to myself, "where did/could have i learn(ed) that".. until dearest mommy reminded me of my 'bird watching' activity back when i was 1 or 2. phews. takut ada kenan owl pulak :p (ntah ntah comey plak kan)

NO, the owl dancing is not the part where it turned it's head 360 degrees nor when it swallowed a whole mice and vomited the fur+bones balls a few hours later. And these acts are the facts of owls that I revealed to my youngest sister when she was 11 or 12 i can't really recall, she was finding it hard to believe, thinking i was bluffing as michievous as i always am, although i was having my brother as my ally, she immediately googled, and voila, was it an amusing fact indeed. I was quite surprised that not many people know this. Maybe having owls as such a taboo fact makes us ignore these amusing God's creation (created for us to woo His powers), same goes with black cats, darn it my black persians were very gorgeous with thick shiny hair and bright yellow eyes, exquisitely well built! And i've had two promotions at work while with them.

So people, kurafat, is kurafat. Tolong jangan sanjung benda2 mengarut mcm nie. Tuhan cipta benda2 sekeliling kita so kita perhati, amuse with kuasa Tuhan and melahirkan rasa rendah diri, bukan cipta and spread kepercayaan khurafat. Bad things come from devil and devilish people. May God forbid.

Dinner Tiime !

Tonight both bewls and peppy had a special dinner treat...peppey for berjaya telan sebijik ubat for the first time of my own personal trial last nite, please please please be such a dearie and telan ubat nicely without any life threatening struggles tonight onwards...and bewls for finally being recovered from her season of yowling and whimpering after 7days today...

Here they are..

whachu havin' ?

cheekenn...u?

syardeenn...

nyumm nyummm nyummm....

I don't know if the colours of the meal has anything to do with the kitties colours, coz, pepper tak lalu sardin and bewls tak lalu ayam rebus...

Malaysia masih di belakang....atau...?

dah terlalu corrupt mcm government India?

If you still remember, this is regarding the death of Teoh Beng Hock, political secretary to Selangor Executive councillor, Ean Yong Hian Wah, had been summoned to the Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) offices to be questioned over irregularities in the disbursement of state funds on July 15th. Next day, he was found dead on the fifth floor service corridor of the building.

So, satu Malaya excited dok kata ini musti kes bunuh coz this guy terlibat dgn pendedahan kes salah guna duit kerajaan negeri.

And then, pihak2 yg bertanggungjawab running the autopsy on this guy announce satu Malaya kata, haish! kami confirm ini kes bunuh diri.

Gagah p bunuh diri kat bangunan pusat siasatan rasuah tu. Tak sempat2 nk balik dulu ka? Yenna dey??

Finally,

The Sun news Oct 22, 2009 - A Thai pathology expert told the Teoh Beng Hock inquest yesterday that there was an 80% possibility that Teoh's death was a homicide and there is only a 20% likelihood that his death was a suicide. The expert, Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand, the director-general of the Thai Ministry of Justice's Central Institute of Forensic Science has testified that there were several injuries found on Teoh which were inconsistent with a fall from a height. They were :

1. the anal injuries, which were of a penetrating nature;
2. evidence of handle bruises which indicate physical strangulation on Teoh's neck; and
3. the fracture found on Teoh's skull was more consistent with that of a blunt force impact than transverse force from the fall.

OK.

I am no expert, and we all watch CSIs, although the 'experts' say they all mengarut, but based on the 3 arguments presented by one of the experts themselves, they appear to be very basic.

I mean, yeah, these are the things that should be checked during the autopsy, right? Any abnormalities on the body. I don't know how they dismissed the injury no1, maybe they rule that out as this guy involved in some kind of sexual activities? I mean, what makes them rule out the possibility of penetrating the guy's ass with a broomstick?

And then the injury no 2. that is so friggin obvious. How could they rule out homicide when such injury of strangulation on the neck is evident. How?? Takkan dia bunuh diri style mencekik leher sendiri sambil terjun?

And then based on the first 2 injuries, i might conclude, injury no 3 is too complicated for the Malaysian 'crime scene investigators' to see.

Or, as I mentioned earlier, are they corrupted? or just not good at their job?
The homicide evidence is 80% not 50% to be dismissed.

For muslims, yes, we believe in Qada' and Qadar. But this is not a matter of tak boleh terima someone died. Kalau asal mati saja dok mendabik dada bg alasan percaya Qada' and Qadar, anyone can plan a plain 'perfect murder'. Coz well,
"I find something fishy here."
"Hey, don't say like that. We must percaya Qada' and Qadar".

Then are you saying, "do not investigate on everything fishys?" Does an act of investigation something fishy is against our rukun iman? Logic ka? Lain la kalau mcm kes, aku tak percaya anak aku dah mati walaupun based on the genetical 'investigation' itu mmg anak hang yg mati, aku masih tetap tak percaya aku nk p cari bomoh kampung, bomoh siam, bomoh exorcist semua. Yang tu buleh tak nk suruh dia mengucap and remind her on rukun iman percaya Qada's and Qadar.

I think, just like how we have misinterpreted the words, "Insya Allah", it is the same way some extremist misinterpreted the "percaya Qada' and Qadar".
While we should promise with, "Insya Allah," and believe in Ketentuan Tuhan melalui Qada' and Qadar, God says, "I will not change a person's fate if he/she does not work on changing it".

Ketuhanan

Allah Ta’ala berfirman kepada Nabi Musa a.s. (Thaha: 14).

Bismillaah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Dengan nama Allah yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Pengasih

Al hamdu lillaahi rabbil 'alameen
Syukur kepada Allah, Tuhan sekalian Alam

Ar-Rahmanir-Raheem
Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang

Maaliki yaumid Deen
Yang memiliki hari pembalasan

Iyyaaka na'abudu wa iyyaaka nasta'een
KepadaMu lah kami berlindung/menyembah dan kepadamulah kami meminta pertolongan

Ihdinas siraatal mustaqeem
Tunjukkanlah kami jalan yang benar

Siraatal ladheena an 'amta' alaihim
Jalan orang-orang yang telah Engkau beri nikmat

Ghairil maghduubi' alaihim waladaaleen
Dan bukan jalan orang-orang yang Engkau murkai

Ameen - Perkenankanlah.

Ketuhanan is Godliness. Pengakuan ketuhanan is, kita hamba, at God's mercy di dunia dan di akhirat. Maka Al-fatihah dibaca dalam solat as our pengakuan ke atas ketuhanan Allah dengan meminta perlindunganNya di dunia dan di akhirat.

Kita hamba, tapi bukan apartheid. Kita tak disebat bila ingkar, kita tak dikurung, kita makan bila kita nak walaupun tak lapaq, we sleep whenever we feel like it even when we are not sleepy or just because we are bored, we breathe, we hear, we listen, we see, we watch, we walk, we run, we spend, we waste time, when ever we feel like it. Lucky slave. And yet, have we zikir subhanallah walhamdulillah recently, for these things that we, lucky bunch of ungrateful slaves, daily do?

Kita selalu ignore benda2 basic pasal Ketuhanan, apatah lagi pasal akidah. Pastu dok bising-bising pasal kes murtad. Tak payah kelam kabut bising takdak tok guru. Ambik dulu quran, recite and read the translation dulu.

This goes for me and for all of us. May we be equipped enough to bring up our kids in these world nowadays.

Tarian Pendet: Anifah pelik sikap media Indonesia

PUTRAJAYA Sept.

Keterlaluan tak i nk kata depa ni mmg tak guna. agak keterlaluan maybe. but dari dulu sampai sekarang mmg jahat. masa msia dapat independence dulu depa punya la hasad dengki buat perang saraf jadi standard communist. punya la jahat. geng pecah rumah pun depa. before this, 10yrs ago, it was still safe to walk here and there in our country, masuk saja bangsa nie since 1990's, dok dlm rumah sendiri pun tak selamat. pastu, ofcoz, pemuda malaysia pun dgn pantas belajaq benda2 pelik depa nie.

yes, dalam semua bangsa, tak semua baik and tak semua jahat. i may begin the explore that there is a possibility that there could be a good jew out there. but when we mention jewish people, we would always link them with men slaughtering of the muslims. they are always bad. we would (we should, we ought to) as possible as we can, stay away from anything that is linked to the jews or anything that's directly funding the bullets and artillery of the jewish wars against the muslims (McDonald's and Starbucks, people, tak mati pun kalau tak makan benda2 nie, but kita yg dok tolong fund bullet utk yahudi belasah org islam. % of the profits mesti kena bg kat "mr mcdonald's", ha situ la duit kita dok belasah burger and coffee depa p).

back to what I was saying, when we mention bangsa indonesia...what would we usually associate them with? while we take my auntie's maids to be part of the families, salam, sembang, gelak, bagi duit raya etc, and tho' their artistes make better music than us malaysians, i'd always associate the rest with 'kekacauan', ruckus, lost, extreme. It's very pitiful and may God forbid, with all the sinful lifestyle we, the leaders and people, post here in our home country will we become like them. And now, with their 'much ado about nothing' attitude over the, i believe, deliberate error by the discovery channel to provoke tension between malaysia and indonesia makes them more pathetic and sickening. While they should be targeting the discovery channel, the folks on the famous tv company now is sitting back and watching the ruckus they has managed to create in the south east of asia. mmg bangsa indonesia ni dungu. melayu, islam jatuh sbb adanya bangsa2 dungu mcm nie lah. sama mcm negara2 arab yg bodoh lagi dungu. bergaduh sesama depa while europe and US bersatu in economy, military and what not. So far, Malaysia jarang sekali melenting or jadi mcm cili padi whenever yahudi tak guna like discovery channel and George Soros cuba provoke. Nasib baik kita tak ambik IMF. kalau tak jadi mcm indonesia. as i said many times before, choose the leader that would cause us less damage. Yes, pemuda UMNO corrupt, pilih leader yang sah2 dibuktikan rasuah but dapat warning saja becoz dia kroni PM. tapi, apa akan jadi kalau kita pilih leader yang nk ambik IMF dulu tu? makan batu and pasiaq la anak2 kita. takdak la kawen hantaran sampai 7,8 ribu. Macam Tuhan dah cakap dlm Quran, "lelaki boleh kawen 2, 3 or 4, dgn syarat hampa berlaku adil. tapi, hampa tak mampu, Aku lah yang maha adil" still ramai yg choose nk kawen lebih dari 1. Try la mcm mana pun, kita takkan boleh berlaku adil. Try la mcm mana pun, xdak pemimpin se-ideal Nabi. So, i would certainly choose pemimpin that would cause me less damage. Aku xmau mkn batu dan pasiaq, jadi hamba america and yahudi, silap2 boleh jadi mcm iraq. Yes, Saddam was hamba America who received military aids to fight against other Arab nations, until he went wild and against his boss, and look what has happened to him, to the country..forever be hamba yahudi, they will.

I would like to highlight an entry from a fellow friend on Pusat Urus Zakat Pulau Pinang here.

Do read. Recommended.

" BUKIT MERTAJAM - Pusat Urus Zakat (PUZ) Pulau Pinang mengutip RM33.5 juta bagi pelbagai jenis zakat, antara Januari hingga 15 Disember lalu. Pengurus Besarnya, Dr Azman Abdul Samat, berkata jumlah itu dijangka mampu mengatasi keseluruhan kutipan tahun lalu RM34.3 juta. "Kita optimis mampu mengatasi jumlah zakat tahun lalu berikutan nilai perbezaan hanya RM800,000 saja. Jadi, mereka yang belum berzakat digalak berbuat demikian," katanya.

Tak faham la apa yg dibangga-banggakan sangat dgn kutipan juta-juta tu, as if org2 PUZ tu yang membanting tulang bermandi peluh and talking as if itu duit 'keuntungan company' depa. kenapa? Duit2 tu org2 Islam yg berkesedaran utk menunaikan rukun islam depa and it just so happens that PUZ is a Pusat Urus Zakat. If dapat duit juta-juta, jangan dok bangga-bangga selagi Malaysia tak bebas fakir miskin. What they should have done is do more kempen kesedaran utk org2 Islam lain. Lagi bagus kalau kami boleh nampak mcm mana fakir2 miskin ni improve their lives. We would like to know if PUZ able to teach a man to fish, so he can fish by himself for the rest of his life. We don't want to hear u boasting on how much money people have assigned you to do your job. That is not your money.

When too many becomes exactly too much

Is there a philanthropist in each of us?

Have we ever enjoyed buying, giving things unconditionally to other people only to find out the action soon carries lesser meaning on the receiving end?

Of course. Sooner or later it will become less significant. There would be less appreciation on the receiving end. The value depreciates. Like, ada takdak sama saja.

Heck, even an unconditional love bears an Anakku Sazali.

At some point when people don't appreciate it they way they use to, u just need to stop giving.
If you're such a philanthropist and you can't help it, find someone else to spoil.

They say be careful what you give. I'd like to say, be careful on how frequent you give. Both has its own undesirable effects.

Too Much of Something is bad enough,
But something's coming over me to make me wonder,
Too Much of nothing is just as tough,
I need to know the way to feel to keep me satisfied

Respect is the Key

I found an interesting article in Jusco's Pearl magazine. It's one of the pointers that struck a thought in my mind.

There is a saying that goes, "It takes a good friend to share your sorrows but a greater friend to share your happiness."

It may sound ridiculous, but some folks just can't be happy at their friend's successes. Some friends are only there for each other when they share the same plight(hardship) and instead of feeling genuinely happy for their friend when they find success, they feel bitterness and jealousy.

Don't be someone that's only in for complaining about life. When your friend hits it big - celebrate with them. When they are interviewing for a new job - root for them. When they want to find new love - be gracious and supportive when they find it.

Now, where do you stand with your friends?

There is nothing better in the world than having people who support and care about you. Go out of your way to show your support for your friend.

Don't visit me when I'm sick. Don't even visit me on calamity events. I will come to you. I know I have plenty of friends who would listen to me. In fact, from the article above, I now know that I can even seek sympathy from anyone even those who hold grudges on me. Don't come to me then.

But be there when I am happy. Celebrate with me when I succeed at something. Remind me of the good things I could have done if I won some prize money. Because good things are best shared. Don't give me a cold shoulder when I succeed at something. Don't envy me if (you/other people find) I'm smart, witty or intelligent. Don't hold grudges over my few abilities and hit me with low remarks and pass it as a joke. We all believe in Qada' and Qadar. Something that looks good on me may not be for you. I twist and turn in restless sleeps because my brain won't give it a rest but a 6-hour sleep is already good for you. Good things are tests from God. Will we use the gifts from God on the good path?

Don't envy me if (you find) I'm smart, witty or intelligent. I'm not asking anyone to keep up with me. Like you, I do see other people as smarter than me, and like you, I don't usually label myself as one and there are those who don't see me as smart as you thought I was. Don't hold your grudge if I won an argument. It usually is never an argument and it is always about finding the truth. Don't hit it on me if you think I'm right. And especially, don't hit it on me if you're frustrated with your life. In fact, try not to hit on anyone at all.

Just what are they doing?

- 24th August 2009; Nik Aziz tidak tarik balik
"Tindakan Nik Abdul Aziz mengatakan bukan hak mutlak Allah SWT menentukan syurga atau neraka seseorang itu apa? Siapa beliau? Jika Allah tiada hak mutlak, Nik Aziz ada?"
"Mohd.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- 22 August 2009 ; Adakah pemimpin PKR masuk syurga?

UMNO tak ajaq aku sembah benda lain selain Allah. So far, kerajaan sekarang telah menyediakan kemudahan beragama untuk aku (and kita semua) - kemudahan sembahyang di merata-rata (highway, masjid2, the pavillion), food chains yg halal (JAKIM), tadarus al-quran and ceramah etc on TV (agama lain takdak tau), azan yg bergema (di S'pore tak boleh azan). The rest on rukun islam and rukun iman is up to each of us la.

About hukum hudud, PKR and DAP dah setuju ka in the first place? Ingat DAP nk bagi hampa memerintah ka kalau pakatan hampa menang?

- 22 August 2009 - Isu Syurga:Penjelasan Nik Aziz

Mursyidul Am Pas, Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat hari ini menjelaskan mengenai hujahnya semalam yang mempertikaikan keputusan Jawatankuasa Muzakarah Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan bahawa ketentuan memasuki syurga atau neraka adalah hak Allah sepenuhnya.

Kenapa dok sibuk pasal syurga or neraka..kenapa tak sibuk pikiaq pasal pembangunan ummah, crime rates and of course, amal ibadat, sedekah and ilmu yg kita bg kat org lain? Kenapa sibuk pasal urusan Tuhan? Kita akan jadi para juri ka? Nabi2 dan rasul2 pun bukan juri kat akhirat nnt. Kenapa ada yg berlagak nk set group sapa masuk syurga sapa masuk neraka?

We are wasting time. We are wasting a lot of time and energy. This is such an insult to our well being.

(nota kefahaman: iaitu yg lebih bawah lebih panas..)

I love it when it rains. I love it too much, "i don't want to close my eyes, i don't wanna fall asleep coz i miss you babe and i don't wanna miss a thing..."..meaning, tho i could easily fall asleep in the cool weather of the rain...i usually would not.

because, most the time..it is so darn hot here in this country...well, maybe not in some parts of the country..let's say..cameron and genting highlands, fraser's hill or at least Taiping..the wet-est place in M'sia. Well, the place where I'm staying and some 200km radius around it is confirmed hot.

I go out for lunch, every-day. it is my socializing session and the highlight of the day and we would walk under the scorching hot sun, most of the time with an umbrella above our head, climbing the bloody hill up to our office. it would be a near-cramp situation inside the elevator and it is so darn uncomfortable.

sweaty shirts and that uncomfortable feeling of the heat of the sweat escaping the pores thru the threads of our dampen shirts and jeans...suddenly the materials seem to be too thick and you'd feel like taking it all off and just sit on the floor under a blasting fan. That would be as devastating as wishing and hoping for something so near yet so far a way...especially when the image of your bedroom is just a 5 minutes drive away..so very tempting.

So i would usually dream of something else instead, just to take the edge of the utmost discomfort of the process of the after effect of walking under the scorching hot sun for 10 minutes...something so far fetched so i wouldn't be too frustrated at not being able to reach for it.

so each time i walked thru the scan-in turnstile, i have always hoped to have some kind special ability to transfer the 70% of the heat of my body thru my pores onto the cold metal turnstile and in return absorb the cool charges off the metal (imagine the transfer flow of the -ve and +ve ions at the interaction of two objects).

and secondly, i'd imagine a closed chamber of cooling gas of nitrogen or CO2 or whatever gasses that are feeding the air conditions with cool air stronger and windy-er than the office temperature, that would be activated as soon as i stepped my feet inside it. it would definitely send down the chill from the based of my hair follicles down thru every tiny pores under my feet. What a bliss.

(They say the best inventions are derived from needs...which are derived from problems...)

And soon, we will always notice some new spots of pigmentation and uneven skin surface on our faces...and we'd buy some expensive skin products to make them go away.

While in other parts of the planet, people die of heat waves.

Nevertheless,

"Bagaimana kamu masih boleh melakukan maksiat sedangkan kamu tak dapat bertahan dengan panasnya terik matahari Ku." hadis Qudsi. Referring to a received mail :

Don't we love surprises?

The pleasant ones, I mean.

I, for instance love the feeling of unwrapping my birthday gifts. Especially when it is accompanied with a surprise birthday party...such a pleasant feeling of happiness, excitement and appreciated.

And a promotion at work is also right there at the top. Let alone a bonus!

We'd hope for a promotion at work. We'd anticipate a surprise birthday party..planned by other people for us..

Don't we just love a pleasant surprise... ;)

If we love it so much, have we ever tried to ponder on the possibility of wishing and hoping for a more pleasant surprise from God the almighty? God has promised and we have always heard, "janji Allah itu benar.." Allah is true to his words.

(3). Surah 65 - At-Talaq Ayat 2-3/Ayat Seribu Dinar.

So, sit back, keep your faith and pray,

Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.

A reminder for me too.

Cute infidelity (?)

Escape the Pina Colada song
Rupert Holmes

I was tired of my lady, we'd been together too long.
Like a worn-out recording, of a favorite song.
So while she lay there sleeping, I read the paper in bed.
And in the personals column, there was this letter I read:

"If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
If you're not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain.
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape.
I'm the lady you've looked for, write to me, and escape."

I didn't think about my lady, I know that sounds kind of mean.
But me and my old lady, had fallen into the same old dull routine.
So I wrote to the paper, took out a personal ad.
And though I'm nobody's poet, I thought it wasn't half-bad.

"Yes, I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne.
I've got to meet you by tomorrow noon, and cut through all this red tape.
At a bar called O'Malley's, where we'll plan our escape."

So I waited with high hopes, then she walked in the place.
I knew her smile in an instant, I knew the curve of her face.
It was my own lovely lady, and she said, "Oh, it's you."
And we laughed for a moment, and I said, "I never knew"..

"That you liked Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
And the feel of the ocean, and the taste of champagne.
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape.
You're the love that I've looked for, come with me, and escape."

"If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
If you're not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain.
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape.
You're the love that I've looked for, come with me, and escape."

kalau dah hippie tu hippie jugak...

Afternoon Delight
The Starland Vocal Band

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
gonna grab some afternoon delight.
My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right.
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day.
And you know the night is always gonna be there any way.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
looking forward to a little afternoon delight.
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite
But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling
a little afternoon delight.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Please be waiting for me baby when I come around.
We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

seriously, anyone can sing this song...anytime..easy listening...driving...walking...

"okay, kids, let's gather around the campfire and sing the song to the guitar"

One by one..

First, it was Michael Jackson..then Farrah Fawcett...then latest of not 2 hours ago, Yasmin Ahmad, passed away at 11.25pm. She had suffered a stroke attack and bleeding in her brain on Thursday afternoon, 23 July 09, and had been on a critical condition since then. I am not sure if she ever regained her conscious ever since.

That's a short report.

hmm...

shocking...scary..

we have heard of her controversial movies but we have never heard of her being sick before. the last post on her blog was on 22 July 09,

i guess it will never be visible...

Truly we belong to Allah and truly to Him shall we return.

Graduation - Vitamin C

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And I keep thinking of the night in June
I Didn't know much of love, but it came too soon
And There was me and you, and then it got real blue
Stay at home talkin' on the telephone and
We would get so excited that we would get so scared
Laughing at our selves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

Chorus:
As we go on, we remember
All the times we had together
And as our lives change, from whatever
We will still be, friends forever

So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money
When we look back now, will that joke still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

*Repeat chorus*

La, la, la, la; yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la, we will still be friends forever

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

*Repeat chorus 3x*

we meet people, we call friends
and at our own pace,
our level of fondness for each other grew
and thus too,
the level of the love for one another

we carelessly grew closer to one and-other
enjoying each other's company
we take the time we have for granted
ain't ignorance is such a sweet bliss..

and the closer you get
the fonder the feeling gets
the deeper shall the pain be
when it's time to part..

when it comes down to this, makes you think, is the careless blissed ignorance really worth the pain?

I can understand if Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have their own stand on being pictured together on events, that is, they don't want to. I mean, we don't see much affection potrayed in their works anyways. Tho' I still think their stand is just mengada-ngada.

Buuuuut...what is the deal with Justin Timberlake in his music videos..where everything is all sexual, sensual and all but it's the case of "where is the love" with his 'significant other' Jessica Biel?

I just watched "Love, Sex, Magic" video of him and Ciara. It sure suffers the censorship. The clip ended after a mere 3 minutes.
Am I missing something here?

I don't understand.

Michael Jackson 1958-2009

27th June 2009

At the moment I'm typing this post, Michael Jackson has just passed away yesterday morning, 5am+, Friday local time. Farrah Fawcett passed away on the same day too due to cancer but that's a different story. I don't feel that much impact. We've heard of her battle against anal cancer for a few weeks now and furthermore, I have only known her just as a sex symbol for the 70s adolescents. Close members mourn but I have to be honest, it doesn't make any difference to me.

Hitzfm played Michael Jackson's songs continously for the whole day on Friday. Other radio stations played his songs over and over again between other songs.

MTV has been showing his clip videos. And while Bewls is making David Copperfield magic, jumping and climbing behing the 4-panes curtains on one end and jumping out from the other end..meowing, 8TV is showing his Dangerous World Tour in Bucharest as of now. Coming right after this is his clip videos.

The concert started with the cameras showing the sea of people at the concert. This is no camera trick. He is well known for such biGG turn-ups. He can really do that without ever the need to lift a finger. Then the King came out, in his famous Dangerous World Tour 'golden long sleeved swimming suit cut' outfit with tight black leather pants. He just stood in the middle of the stage, poised in his big, dark aviator sunglasses. The crowd cheered, screamed, chanted his name and some had already fainted. He was static, assessing the sea of worshippers in front of him, beneath his feet, for nearly 5 minutes. And then he turned, just his neck...that sent a whole louder roar and scream from the crowd. That is the impact he created.

The songs on the radio, the replays of the concerts, the music videos, THS and interviews on E, all of these have brought me back to the way back when I was growing up to his songs. Cutting newspaper clips with a fellow friend from school who shared the same passion with me for Michael Jackson. Let it be even for the suits and scandals, tho disturbed and saddened, no matter. It was about him. He may be weird but in a harmless way, and that does not categorize him as a freak.

You and I must make a pact
We must bring salvation back

where there is love,

I'll be there...

I reach out my hand to you..

I have faith in all you do

Just hold my hand
and
I'll be there...

I remember being introduced to Thriller sometime before I was 6. I was purely fascinated with the music video. The ghouls drama and the song and especially the dance, oh my God, was I fascinated with this guy...and I was introduced to Michael Jackson. All the while before that I was singing to daddy's collection of 60s songs, without knowing the faces of the singers, now there is one whom I can put a face to.

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, ow!

How ta hell did he manage to make the all red suit he's wearing look so kool. And what's the deal with the white socks? Is it him or it's just the 80's? But oh the dance moves...i just love all of 'em!
The video officially introduced his moonwalk move.

Then there was Beat It, more dance...Billie Jean...he was so kool when the lights on the blocks of pavements underneath lighted up when he stepped on each of them as he moved to the beat.

People always told me
be careful of what you do
And don't go around breaking young girls' hearts
And mother always told me
be careful of who you love

And be careful of what you do
'cause the lie becomes the truth

Billie Jean is not my lover

She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

But the kid is not my son

She says I am the one,
but the kid is not my son

A couple of years later, I saw Bad music video. Black, leather, clinging chains, boy was he all rugged, baddie, scruffy, macho, with the mesmerizing ever changing dance routines and all and i was really taken by him out of breath !

And the whole world has to answer right now just to tell you once again
Who's BAD !

...the 8 yr old me was crazy about this guy then. I didn't know if I wanna like him or be him.

Annie Are You OK?
So, Annie Are You OK
Are You OK, Annie
So, Annie Are You OK?
Are You OK, Annie?
Annie Are You OK?
So, Annie Are You Ok, Are You Ok, Annie?

You've Been Hit By
You've Been Hit By - A Smooth Criminal !

Masters of Choreography are still referring to the dance video of Smooth Criminal on tv up till today. And one of my most favourite of all time. Seriously, watch the dance routine in Thriller, Bad, Black or White, in fact, watch all his music videos, literally, and tell me, how can you not appreciate him enough to love and admire him.

We are the world,
We are the children,
We are the one to make a brighter day,
So let`s start givin`,
There`s a chance we`re takin`,
We`re takin all our lives,
It`s true we`re make it a brighter day just you and me.

Dangerous came out in 1991. Black or White always, always, tickle the kid in me during the face changing sequence which I'm sure all of us remember, I still find myself entertained and clapping my hands after the end of the sequence now after watching it on tv,

I took my baby
On a saturday bang
Boy is that girl with you
Yes were one and the same

Now I believe in miracles
And a miracle
Has happened tonight

But, if
Youre thinkin
About my baby
It dont matter if youre
Black or white

Ain't this song beautiful?
But the dance routine towards the end was unnecessarily violent tho..nevermind about that..

and then, Remember The Time is so romantic, dude really rock in this album with the rest of the songs. I love this album all thru my adolescence. (Keep it in the closet is darn sexy!)

Do you remember
When we fell in love
We were young
And innocent then
Do you remember

How it all began

It just seemed like heaven

So why did it end?

Do you remember the time

When we fell in love

Do you remember the time

When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time

It's been one hour the Concert on TV and he has been entertaining-singing, dancing, screaming, acting, jumping, running, flying, lying on the stage..continously saying, "i love you" throughout the concert.. smoother than those guys competing in Grand Slam tennis...like he was born to entertain...he showed that he really loved what he's doing..like, he's a robot programmed to entertain and that was all he does..1 hour and counting..he is still back to perform more songs and dance routines...smoothly.

I just can't stop loving you
I just can't stop loving you
And if I stop...
Then tell me just what will I do..
'Cause I just can't stop loving you

The Dangerous World Tour kicks off in Munich, lasts more than a year and covers 67 countries. He died of cardiac arrest highly likely due to a heart attack, just shy of a couple of weeks to his biggest comeback tour in London in July 2009. Read somewhere that the tickets were sold out just 2 hours of release.

Hold me
like the river Jordan..
and I will then say to thee..
you are my friend..
Carry me
like you are my brother..
love me like a mother..
will you be there...

Clearly I have taken this guy's existence for granted. Considering listening to his songs, watching his music videos these couple of days, actually bring back some of my memories and feelings of growing up years..with my dad still in the air force, came home one evening with MJ's Bad cassette and we played it on his stereo and me and my brother were trying our best dancing and impersonating his moves in his video. Hah! We also had a few small packs of nuts daddy brought back in our pockets to make the sounds of the clinging chains of small metals. Mind you, I was 8 yrs old..

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

One particular part of my interest is how this guy, despite his famous indecent crotch grabbing moves, smooth kool moonwalking move, he actually has some real, beautiful songs about love and humanity..neutral love and decent feelings, about the world, on famine, devastation of wars and a greener earth. How many of our artists can actually pull this mixture of sensual and humanity recording in one album? I mean, you can be notty yes, but do not neglect these humanity values, please.

Nation to nation
All the world
Must come together
Face the problems
That we see
Then maybe somehow we can work it out
I asked my neighbor
For a favor
She said later
What has come of
All the people
Have we lost love

Two hours have passed MJ starts introducing his musicians and background singers, he said his final 'i love you's"continously to his fans in between the lines of the man in the mirror. His musician and background singers repeatedly singing, "make a change" at the back...

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

I'm Starting With The Man In The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways
And No Message Could Have Been Any Clearer

If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place
Take A Look At Yourself,
And Then Make A Change !

The music video collection is next on TV. The more I'm watching his dancing, him moving, him singing, his facial expression changes with the songs and shouting, "i love you" to the crowd, I'm touched, and have indeed shed a few tears, I couldn't help but to feel saddened with the loss.

just look over the shoulders, honey !
Just call my name,

and I'll be there...

"Let them say I have walked with giants...let them say I have lived in the times of Michael Jackson..."
